provide custom general purpose and ultra low noise microwave amplifiers in common
communications bands and custom frequency bands to frequencies up to 30 GHz. The amplifiers can be supplied either in a conventional uncooled configuration or a cooled configuration for optimum

Solid State Power
Amplifiers supply extremely reliable and linear output power for use in
various microwave transmitter applications. Locus microwave can provide
custom SSPAs to very high power in various configurations
including modules, indoor rack and outdoor packaged configurations. The
company is also able to provide configurations that meet a customer's

right. Note that higher system power can be attained through combining
of modules.

Frequency Converters & Custom
Subsystems:
Locus Microwave can provide
custom frequency conversion products with operating frequencies from
baseband to in excess of 20 GHz. These units can be packaged in a variety of
ways including as modules, or at higher levels for indoor or outdoor use.
The company can also provide
system level solutions which could involve any of the components we have
previously described and can also include components from other sources.

High Dynamic Range
Amplifiers
Many systems require
amplification with specifications for noise, intermodulation performance
and gain that seem impossible all at the same time. These are generally
called 'High Dynamic Range' amplifiers. Locus Microwave can use its
experience in Feedforward and Pre-Distortion techniques to help
customers achieve their performance goals.

Radio Booster Amplifiers
It is often useful to add a
booster amplifier to many military radios. Locus Microwave can provide
small but robust solutions to these needs. Units have been designed for
use in various radio systems including those compatible with SINCGARS
and HAVEQUICK systems. They are useful for AM, FM DAMA and other digital
communications systems.

Custom Amplifiers & Components
Customers often have needs
for amplifiers that do not fall neatly into the category of standard low noise or high
power, but do have special requirements. Locus Microwave can provide
