Intended for Manpack applications, Locus Microwave, Inc.'s UB61003 and UB61004 Block Up Converters are designed for use in commercial, military and military Manpack miniature satcom systems. These compact split units can be mounted for maximum efficiency of operation in a customer supplied package with the finned SSPA being cooled with customer supplied moving air. Alternatively, they can be mounted in a customer supplied package with provision for adequate heatsinking.
